Pseudocaeciliidae

Overview

Venation as in Caecilius but with a double row of setae on the veins. The pterostigma and areola postica are usually elongate and relatively shallow. Pseudocaeciliids are usually found on leaves or green twigs. Mockford (1984) has discussed the classification of the genera, including those from Australia. [Thornton and New 1977.]
